Today we had a family of Coon asses from Louisiana we had Dad Poncho mom Maria their son Rusty and their daughter who's name we never got and her boyfriend Ryan.

And what a great day of fishing it turned out to be.

We started out trolling the reef catching king fish and bonitos one after another. Than we worked our way down to a ship wreck and set out a live bonito and got hooked up into a monster barracuda in no time. Rusty jumped in the chair and the fight was on. It took Rusty a good 10 min to finally get his fish to the boat. We got a quick picture and watched him swam away in good shape.

Than we worked our way down a little further to another ship wreck and this time we dropped a live blue runner down about 225 feet to the bottom and BAM we got Hooked Up again. This time Ryan got in the chair and the battle was on. This one was a big back and forth tug a war for over 15 min till Ryan finally got his catch to the boat. It turned out to be giant amber jack. Way to go Ryan. And then this nice black fin tuna to boot.

Ok by this time Mom had enough of watching and it was time for her to try her luck at fighting one of these bull dogs of the Atlantic. So once again we dropped a live blue runner to the bottom and BAM once again we were Hooked Up. Maria jumped in the chair and now she was yelling and hooting and having a ball. With a little help from the rest of the gang she finally got her big amber jack to the boat.

At this point we were so far from our inlet that we decided to troll out a bit deeper and a bit faster to work our way back toward the port. We got the first deep rod set when all of a sudden the line started peeling off the reel. Holy cow at this rate we were never going to make it back to our inlet. This time it turned out to be a nice black fin tuna.

Well they said they wanted some fish they could eat I think they got enough for the rest of the year.

Thanks again for a great fun filled morning of fishing guys and we are looking forward to fishing you guys again in the winter months.

Ok so today we started out fishing with Steve, Jess, and Laura from Minnesota Andria and Jim from right down here in Ft Lauderdale and last but not least Charlie from Phoenix Arizona.

Once again we started out trolling the reef and today the king fish and bonitos were biting so good that at one point Captain Greg looked at me as if to say (give me a break)

Finally we decided that enough was enough and we brought in all of our trolling gear and went to a wreck and dropped a live bait down on the wreck. It seemed we could do no wrong today because the second the live bait got to the bottom the rod bent over and line was peeling off the reel. Steve jumped in the chair and the fight was on. It was a big tug a war for over 10 min but at last Steve got his big amber jack to the boat.

What a morning of deep sea fishing and the last thing we wanted was for our afternoon trip to see how many fish we had caught on our morning trip. But as luck would have it as we got back to the dock and hung up all these fish for a picture here comes our afternoon trip.

Now we had a hard act to follow.

So we got the boys from Alabama aboard and headed back out.

As it turned out all of these guys grew up together and had all gotten together here in Sunny South Florida to celebrate Moses getting married. So along with Trey, Will and Cedric we headed right back to the reef where we had left the fish biting earlier in the day. And yes they were still biting and we were catching king fish and bonitos one after another. I mean it was none stop action to the point where they were telling each other that it was their turn and not mine. These guys were getting tired of catching fish when all of a sudden I seen a sail fish trying to eat one of our surface baits. We finally got a hook in him and Trey wasted no time jumping in the chair.

It was a back and forth fight for over 20 min but finally trey got his fish next to the boat.

We wanted to try to get the hook out of the fish but he never settled down and we figured he'd be better off if we just cut the leader right next to the hook and just let it rust out and not take a chance on the fish hitting his head against the boat.

We ended up catching so many fish that with about 45 min left of fishing they all said they had enough. Now that is something that does not happen every day.

To all of our tired anglers today thanks so much and give us a call soon so we can wear you out again (LOL)

Fishing has just been great so give us a call and let's get you HOOKED UP

Today we had a couple of customers who have fished with us in the past and decided to give it another shot and we made it worth their while.

We had Collin, Kim and David out for a morning of deep sea fishing. And yes once again we started out trolling the reef and once again we were not let down. It didn't take long till we had our limit of king fish and went right to fishing one of our deep wrecks out in front of Port Everglades.

Once we got our live bait down to the bottom it did not take long till the rod bent over and we were Hooked Up. Collin jumped in the chair and the battle began. It was a good 10 min tug a war till Collin finally got his catch to the boat a nice big fat amber jack. We got the hook out of the fish released all the air that was trapped in his belly from being brought up from the deep got a couple of quick pictures and watched him swam away in great shape.

Well that was too easy so we decided to try it again and once again once we got the live bait to the bottom it did not take long before once again the rod bent over and we were Hooked Up again. This time Kim jumped in the chair and the fight was on. It was another good 10 to 12 min before Kim got her catch to the surface and once again a big fat amber Jack.

Way to go guys by the end of our trip we had a box full of king fish and we had also caught two nice barracudas and two big amber jacks.

Not a bad way to start out our day and now we've got to get back to the dock pick up our afternoon trip and see if we can do it again.

This afternoon we had Gina, Mercy, Karen Triad and Kristen all from Ft Lauderdale. That's right 1 guy with 4 girls and these folks were looking to catch some fish and have a good time. That's just what happen we ended up catching 12 king fish, 5 bonitos and 2 barracudas and everyone had a ball.

Thanks again guys for a fun great day of fishing and we are all looking forward to fishing with you guys again soon.
