Margie called a few months back and booked surprise trip for Mike they had fished with me before Katrina and had a great time and wanted to do it again. The plan was to had out for some big trout but due to an alarm on the engine we had to stay real close to the dock. Made the best of the situation and focused on redfish in Hopedale lagoon. LSU spinners and gold spoons did the trick. We had to do a lot of trolling but came up with a nice box of fish an Inshore GRAND SLAM. Day turned out great. Mike and Margie had never caught reds this way before so it was something new. Any way we had a blast catching reds in the shallow water and weather was perfect.
