Savannah Snapper Banks
August 30, 2008 Saturday
We fished offshore at the Savannah Snapper Banks this past Saturday. Although the easterly winds picked up all day we still caught a nice array of bottom fish while using squid and cut fish. However, when we switch up and used live cigar minnows and Spanish sardines the bottom bite was even stronger and quicker! We caught nice black sea bass, vermilion snapper, red snapper, triggerfish, and red grouper.
