Plain Old Bottom Fishing
During this time of the year "plain old bottom fishing" is quite popular. The reason being is that it's the migration time of the year. Now matter where you drop that baited hook you really never know what you might catch where.
The artificial reefs are great place for fishermen to fish and fish to feed. We all want the same thing. So therefore we go to areas, which offer up the best feeding opportunity. The good news is that there are all kinds of fish both large and small "bulking up" before making that serious wintertime move. Most any kind of bait will work whether is frozen squid or part of this past summer's fish parts.
For those that don't want to take any sort of bait all you need have on board is a good hook Sabiki bait rig. These rigs will get you what you want in the bait category. If the bait caught is too big cut it up and if it happens to be the right size "just use it whole!"
