Bio: For the past 25 summers I have commercial, sport, or charter fished the East Cape and Islands out of Harwich Port, Ma. Prior to that I fished the offshore waters south of Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, Block Island, and Montauk out of Pt. Judith, R.I. I've been a lifelong resident of Rhode Island except for a tour of duty as a U.S. Army officer during the Vietnam period after graduation from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science degree. I am a certified U.S. Coast Guard Captain, a member of the Cape Cod Charter Boat Association, the IGFA, and Trout Unlimited.

Giant Tuna A No Show - Great South Channel (10/10/2006)
[Cape Cod,MA] Traditionally giant bluefin move in to the shipping lanes east of Nantucket in the Fall to chow down prior to their southern migration. Not this year. Could it have anything to do with the herring seiners?
