Sandy Hook, New Jersey - Saltwater Fishing Report
Ocean

Looks like tomorrow may be the end of the 2008 Fluke season! Some Nasty weather coming for Saturday, possibly into Sunday. Not the way we where hoping to go out! Today's fishing started out with a half dozen good size fish, and some shorts, not a good drift. Fished the snags and rocks...not the sand as some may suggest!! Ran to the channels to catch the current, good fishing the rest of the day on shorts and keepers. John Froelich had the pool fish at 6 1/2 pounds, followed by a 5 1/2 and some 3's. Not sailing Monday-Friday next week, will be back at it on Saturday the 13th fishing for Bass and Blues....To all my Flukers out there, thanks for another good season, I appreciate the business, especially with what we are all up against. If I could only convert some of you guys over to Stripers now!!! Capt.ron
