Gene Dugas

Catchining up report.

We have had a lot of wind the last 2 weeks which has hampered getting outside and the live bait has been scarce, But the Shrimp season is open now and that should help.

With all the wind we have had to stay inside. The trout are there but scattered but the redfish and drum along with some flounder have been steady. Some days we did well on the trout and some better on the reds but have been able to build a good box full of fish almost every day. Know how to catch'em. Dead shrimp on the bottom in the holes for drum and reds and on the points with moving water under a cork. The trout have been in the deeper bayous on the bottom with live minnows and croakers if you can get them the trout will gobble them up. Birds have been working in the mouths of the pass's early but a lot of throwbacks but good action.

Well there, it is I have been so busy the; last 2 weeks and have not posted reports but Here is a little along with some pictures I will be back at it Friday and will try to keep up the reports. Thanks to all who E-mailed Me wondering where I was.
