Nov 12 2006 – Pierce Schubert and His dad came down from Tennessee to sample the fantastic Louisiana Speckled trout fishing they heard so much about. Well as luck would have it we had a cold front blowing through the morning wee were to fish 20 mph NE wind. They were concerned but I said lets just Go out you guy's are hear and give it a whirl if nothing happens we will call it a wash. Well 2 minutes from the dock we saw birds diving and in short order had trout flopping in the boat, Good sign. We had to move around catching a handful of trout at each spot but the bite was happening despite the wind and cold temps. We had to be finished by 11:30 so they could check out their hotel and catch a flight home. Small window but we hit the bull's-eye and had their limit of nice trout cleaned and packed and on their way by noon.

LIMIT 50 TROUT
