Beautiful sunrise this AM! We watched it glide up over the marsh breifly, before being jerked back into fishing by voracious trout bites. We found an excellent trout bite in an interior lake and filled the box with trout 12-17". We had a bunch of undersized trout in the mix. These fish wanted artificial cocahoes and live shrimp under a cork. With a box full of trout, we headed to a redfish hole and found the black drum thick as fleas. These fish were hitting live shrimp under a cork, dead shrimp on a jighead and artificial cocahoes. These drum were perfect size - 18-20". Along with the drum came an occasional redfish in the 20-16" range. A great day on the water. Good luck out there this week!
