Today was the girl's day out. So off we went fishing with Tina, Jamie and Lori.

Kite fishing had been paying off for us the last couple days so we went right back to kite fishing and yes once again it paid off for us.

We ended up with one sailfish and a nice big Wahoo.

Girls what can I say but WOW lots of fun and thanks again.

As we backed into the dock we had Gacton and Patrick from parts unknown eager to give their luck a shot at some deep-sea fishing off the coast of Fort Lauderdale.

Today we fished with Mike and Paul from Ohio along with Eric from Michigan and Matt from Memphis Tenn.

Trolling the reef had been slow all week so we went right to kite fishing.

As it turned out kite fishing was also slow today for all the boats BUT one boat got lucky with a BIG SAIL FISH bite and Yep you guessed it. Hooked Up got the bite. Matt ended up catching this monster sailfish!

Sorry to say we never got a picture of Matt's fish.

Thanks again Guys for fishing with us off the coast of Fort Lauderdale.

Today we had Justin and Erin from Wisconsin, Chris from parts unknown and Mike and his girl friend from Detroit Michigan.

As soon as we got into the ocean I spotted this big green patch of fish so we headed right for it.

Well this tuned into a fisherman's dream with everyone catching blue fish one after another. Talk about cockpit chaos and to really add excitement to it all I turned the radio up loud with ACDC playing High Way to Hell!! What a blast!!

O yea and we also caught 1 Mahia Mahia.

Guy's thanks again it was a blast fishing with all of you.

March 30th

Today we fished with John Mitchell John, Nicole, Richard and Patrick all from parts unknown. We started out trolling and catching a box full of small blackfin tunas along with a Mahia Mahia and one big bonito. Ok now that the skunk was out of the box in came the trolling gear and out went the kites with live and dead bait suspended from the kites. We also sent shark bait down deep. Ok now the trap was set and all we needed now was for some sea monster to come swimming along and take a bite.

That's just what happen and before we knew what had happen we were doing battle with a big hammerhead shark.

35 min later we had this big hammerhead shark next to the boat.

What an exciting fight and a great way to end the trip.

Thanks again to our anglers today for fishing with us aboard the Hooked Up.
