Rory Rorison

Thursday I fished with Mark Carraway, his bother in laws Randy and Ronnie out of Mark's Shearwater. I met up with the guys at Breton Sound Marina and we headed behind Hopedale Lagoon. Things started off very slow with no fish at the first few spots. We worked our way toward the back of this pond found some Reds off of a point. Fishing with shrimp tipped plastics under a cork we put 15 nice Reds on ice. Back to looking for Trout. We moved over to Lake Amadee and started drifting. Bayou Chubs fished 3' under a cork produced 10-15 Trout per drift. We would pick up and drift again and again till we ended up with the box stuffed to the top with 75 Trout to go along with the Reds. We fished long and hard but were rewarded with a nice days catch and everyone had a great time doing so. For your next fishing adventure call United Charters 504-439-1680.
