Yesterday Jim and Chuck brought along Lam and Greg to show them some of the fantastic trout fishing we have here in Louisiana. Well the weather forecast was iffy but that's usually the case when Jim sets up a trip and we like it that way because it usually turns out great and we catch lot of fish. Today was right on track first stop the 2 rookie's Lam and Greg putting trout in the boat with Jim and Chuck playing catch-up. The bite was slow but steady catch a few and wait then move and do it again. LIVE CROAKERS was the key very few trout on the shrimp. But it was worth the wait all big fish 2 to 4 lbs. We had a blast cutting up with each other and filling the 120qt box with some big trout. Chuck and I were kidding around acting like throwing Jim's big trout overboard and then OPP'S he slipped out my hand and over he goes the look on Jim's face was a #10 gawk. PRICELESS! We laughed it off it's all good. Great day on the water Greg who hails from Missouri and had never experienced Louisiana fishing but he is HOOKED NOW! He said he is definitely coming back to do this again.
