Everett Bear had some friends in town from Crockett Texas and set up a day wanted to show them a good time fishing for Louisiana speckled trout and redfish. Things started a little slow with the tide not falling yet so I headed to the outer bays to find some tide movement. We started catching trout but the weather was rumbling and looking bad so we made a short move to avoid the rain and found some hungry specks and white trout biting on just about every cast. The weather was closing in again so with the box pretty full we ran to the marsh to try the redfish. Put one in the boat quick and had 5 break off before getting three more in the boat. We made all day without getting wet so and with plenty of fish headed for the dock.
