Today we started out fishing with Nick, Fonnie, Dickerson and Sam all from Los Angles California.

We stated out trolling the reef and just out side the reef with 2-planner boards running about 45 feet down along with 3 baits skipping across the surface.

I must say that trolling was good today with us landing 4 black fin tunas and a nice Wahoo.

We ended our morning trip with dropping a live bait down 210 feet on a shipwreck just to see if there was any fish around the wreck. As it turned out the second the live bait hit the bottom the rod bent over line started peeling off the reel and we were Hooked Up. Sam jumped in the chair and the fight was on. After a gulling 10 min tug a war up popped this monster golden amber jack.

Nice going Sam.

Ok if it worked once we figured what the heck try it again.

And once again once the bait hit the bottom BAM Hooked Up again and this time Dickerson jumped in the chair and once again a nice amber jack.

As we got back to the dock we had Joyce, Beth, Emily, Dante and Cole all from down here in South Florida eager to give their luck a shot at some deep-sea fishing aboard the Hooked Up.

While we never did catch any amber jacks this afternoon we did manage to put 6 black fin tunas in the box.

Thanks again to all of our anglers for fishing with us today off the coast of South Florida aboard the Hooked Up.
