Mike Whigham brought along Matt and Scott Cassidy from the Mobile area down to Hopedale to sample some of the Awesome LOUIANA SPECKLED TROUT and REDFISH action we have been this fall. Well the weather was looking iffy but we were determined and headed out in the gale force winds 25 mph +. First stop fish on the trout were hitting plastic jigs dead on the bottom in 7 ft of water. We stayed there for a while moving around abit but the bite died. ON the hunt 4 stops later I had the guy's back on the fish but this time it was to be plastic under corks drifting some protected lake off the Twin pipes. We would catch 10 to 15 per drift and before long the guy's had a limit of nice trout on ice, some up to 4 lbs. Time for reds did the troll the shoreline thing throwing spinners and spoons catching several and releasing them all but one that Scott wanted to grill. Oh yea we caught 3 chunky Bass too. The guy's loved it this were there first trip to Hopedale but not the last!

Limit 75 Trout

1 Red for the Grill
