Kabetogama/Namakan Fishing Report 4/30/07

It appears the ice will be out by the time you read this report.

Warm temperatures this week, a little rain and a strong wind Sunday pushed out the ice opening Kabetogama and most likely Namakan.

The Kettle Falls Hotel concessionaire took his boat to the hotel this day(Sunday) and returned with the dam tender.

A little problem with slush ice, but a good trip.

Walleyes should be moving in to spawn now, setting the stage for what should be a good opener.

Crappies still out in the deeper waters.

Happy 2007 fishing season to all!

Have a Great Day!
