I took a party out into the gulf looking for some Spanish mackerel last week. We found some fish but not the numbers I was looking for. We did catch a number of blacktip sharks. Fishing will only get better. I made a tarpon trip one morning. I was using dead baits. We had two tarpon on, but lost them when they warped around a bridge.

I poked offshore one day. looking for some dolphin, tuna or a sail. We found nothing. We came in and fished for some snappers on the reef. We caught some yellowtails, mangos and had a nice cobia follow a fish in. He eat a grunt, and we eat him.
