I will huff and I will puff and I will blow your house down!!

Welcome to another LOC Derby weekend on Lake Ontario.

Hard winds from the south and Gail winds from the west made a mess of things again this weekend.

We took some fish but took a beating in between.

Here are my stats for the last few days

Wednesday AM -2 for 6 before the winds chased us away

Wednesday PM- Blow-off

Thursday AM 2 for 3 in an hour and then we had some Lake Ontario flu and went to the dock.

Thursday PM 0 for 2 on a 4 hour excursion only zip in August

Friday AM Bang Tango real good numbers

Saturday AM - 1 for 3

Saturday PM – 3 for 6 Chased off by west winds early.

Sunday AM Blow-off

Sunday PM Blow-off

This all being at what some think is the best week of the season. Next year I am loading all my salmon trips into July and keeping this week off.

What do you think?

Hot items the last few days included: Green E chips/#41 flies, Chrome E chips/L204, Mtn dew taped spinnies and Big Fin B flies, Sweet Pea and Pro/Am flies and the Captain Valium rig. I have also taken a few fish on green glow J-Plugs and a ultra glow fishlander spoon early and late.

Weather looks good for this week, (I hope) and I have some days open.
