During this time of the year when it's sunny and the water is clear bass hang in the shadows and are quite spooky. One reason might be that their ability to see better the "unusual further" probably takes over! With that being said, "gentle side casts" while not sitting up high up on any sort of mounted swivel chair is going to work for the best biting advantage.
