I hope everyone had a good Mardi Gras. I know I did. My father in law JC, his friend Bubba, and I got a late start and headed down to Shell Beach. For a change of late the winds were calm so instead of going where I know the Trout are we headed out to the flat calm Breton Sound to see what was out there. We found little to no tide, and not the best looking water. Made several stops finding some better water and put some Reds and Heads in the boat. Never did get on a real good bite, but ended with our limits of big reds, to go with one smaller one and a bunch of Sheepshead. My kind of parade.
