The 1st part of this will be the fishing report the second part the story enjoy both. Started the day in the narrows where we had the real good fishing last week. 65Deg. water flood tide. fished 3 spots between 10 and 40 ft with no luck. Moved over by the islands in 12 to 20 ft at the end of the tide and 6 guys had 34 fish on strips and spearing in a few hours They bit through the slack. Most of the fish were short but the boys did land a few keepers at just 18" and Tom lost a nice fish in the 20" on top. When the tide came strong it was over there.

Made a move over by West bank just a few shorts .Then the guys decide to call it a day ( a few were a bit Quesy) This was one of our 3 sch. Take a kid fishing trips. At this years Nor East Bash I was introduced to Denis Cataldo from the N.Y Sportsfishing Federation. as "the man to speak with" If I wanted to get involved with Take A Kid Fishing , Denis was great about finding Small groups that fit our operation Thanks Denis. Well this group was The Young Mens Organization from The Chuch of Jeseus Christ Of LDS.

What a nice group of young men a real pleasure to have abord. Tom the group leader was a blast and really interested in the kids enjoying there day out. While the keeper ratio was small as you can read above the kids had fun releasing a bunch Tom was HH with 10 and a loss. Du had 7 Eric only 2 but what a great young man fished hard all day . Jeremy had 5, Gerald 6 and Kevin 4 with a Keeper. Each Man had a turn at the wheel something they had never experienced before. Need to say a few thank you's besides the above, Thanks To Nor East for providing the forum that allows for these types of introductions.

Thanks to Stella Marris Fishing Station (Joe, Joe , Rich and all the guys) for Donating all the Bait and Tackle For all these trips Thanks to George Berry who took the day off his Job to help me and the guys out on deck. Take a kid Fishing they are the future of our sport and our of WORLD
