Ok so today we Juan from Denver Colorado, Mark from St Louis, Gary from San Francisco and Paul from Oklahoma out for a few hours of deep sea fishing aboard the Hooked Up off the coast of ft Lauderdale.

We started out our day by swinging by the live bait boat and picking up a bucket of live baits call goggle eyes.

From there we headed right out to 150 feet of water about a mile and a half from shore and set out both of our kites with two live baits suspended from each kite.

Ok the trap was set and now all we needed was for some big fish to come along and take the bait. It did not take long for our first victim to come along and it turned out to be a big sailfish. Mark jumped in the chair and the fight was on. It took a good 15 min till Mark finally got his sailfish to the side of the boat. We got a few quick pictures and watched him swim away in great shape to fight again another day.

Ok now we were all pumped up looking forward to a great bite. As soon as we got the baits set back out there BAM another bite and this time Juan got in the chair and once again the fight was on. Juan's fish never did come up jumping so we were not sure what he had on. As he got his fish close to the boat we seen this silver streak jet threw the water like a rocket. Finally we got a gaff into this big smoker king fish. Way to go Juan.

All Righty Now: Thing were just going great and as soon as we got the baits back out there BAM another bite and out came this monster sailfish dancing all over the surface of the waves.

This time Paul got in the chair and hell yes another big fight was on. This one was a big back and forth tug a war for a good 25 min till at last Paul got his big sailfish to the side of the boat.

We hauled Paul's fish in the boat for a quick measurement and a couple of quick photos and released him fight again another day.

Guys I really want to thank all four of you again for a fun day of deep-sea fishing off the coast of Fort Lauderdale aboard the Hooked Up

Today we had a shred charter with Donald and Mary from New Jersey Shore and Jerry and Joe from Toronto /Canada and Enrique from Uruguay.

Once again we stopped by the live bait boat and loaded up with live goggle eyes and went right to kite fishing with our live baits suspended from the kites.

While we never did see any sailfish today the kingfish were snapping and everyone caught plenty of kings and all of them in the 10 to 15 pound range.

Good fishing today and plenty of action to keep everyone busy.

Thanks again to all of our anglers today for fishing aboard the Hooked Up off the coast of South Florida.

I want to start out by saying that we have a ball doing what we do for a living witch is we get to take people fishing. And 9 out of 10 times we have just as much fun as our anglers. But every once in a while a fishing trip will stand out a bit and that was the case on this trip.

Let me start out by introduces the players on this fishing trip aboard the Hooked Up off the coast of Fort Lauderdale.

We gad Robert the Cop, Jerry the million dollar beer guy, Kevin the mouth and his beautiful girl friend Jen and last but not least Ramie the chummer all from South Florida.

Now these guys were looking for some good eating fish to take home for their fish fry. So we headed off shore looking for some dolphin fish or some wahoo for their fish fry.

I've got to take a moment to say that by the time we got about 4 miles off shore and got all the baits in the water these guys never stopped talking and having a ball. At this point I don't even think anyone knew where the head (bath room) was or any thing else about the boat or the fishing we just could not get a word in.

Ok so there we were setting out all the baits when all of a sudden here came the dolphin fish from everywhere. Most of the time this would be a good thing BUT with a fish on every rod and these guys yelling so loud that we could not get anything going on as far as someone reeling in the fish.

Finally after a little soft SCREAM I got their attention (LOL)

So we ended up boating 3 out of the 5 dolphin we had on but what really my attention was I seen them laughing and I asked what was so funny?? They told me that Kevin the mouth is always that loud and they had been trying to get him to shut up for 2 days now. (LOL)

I've got to say that our fishing trip just went up hill from that point on. I don't think I've laughed so much on a fishing trip in years and the fish were biting to boot. We think the fish were biting so well because we had Rami the chummer keeping the fish around the boat.

We ended up with a box full of dolphin fish 1 black tip shark and we jumped off a sailfish.

Guys what a ball thanks sooo much and we are looking forward to fishing with you guys again soon.
