Luis Perez

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all the readers that follow my fishing reports.

I would also like to let my readers and our anglers who have fished with us aboard the Hooked Up between Nov the 18 to December the 4 that while I am one of the VERY few Captains down here off the coast of Fort Laudable that write fishing reports that actually do write the reports myself and I do take great pride in being truthful and try to get everyone's names and a good stories about their catch and do my best to get photos of their catch.

Having said that I have to say that Captain Greg Captain J.J. and myself have all been on vacation from Nov 18 till the 4th of December and in lieu of this our fill in crew did not get any photos and the reports were not as well kept up with all the info I need to write all the details that took place.

I do apologize for the lack of info that I have to work with and if I missed anyone please don't hesitate to e mail me so I can fill in any facts I might have left out.

The good news is we are back and we seemed to have come back to a great sail fish bite. So while the next few reports may be lacking some fishing trips and photos I will do my best to get all of what I've got in and they will be back up to par starting December the 5.

Thanks so much for support and e-mails.

Nov 23

Today we had Chris and two of his friends down for a morning of deep sea fishing aboard the Hooked Up.

We started out trolling the reef and ended up catching a few dolphin fish. Afterwards we went to a wreck and tried a deep drop about 210 feet down and ended up catching a big amber jack.

Today we had our regular customer/friend Pete on board for 2 half days of fishing. Since

Pete was taking out more than 6 people in his party we went out from 8:00 till noon and then again from noon till 5:00 this way Pete gets to go fishing twice.

Pete brought along his sisters, mom brother in law and some other close friends.

They ended up catching a big sail fish some king fish on the reef and a 40 plus pound Wahoo.

Way to go Pete

Today we decided to do some trolling out in a little deeper water and it paid off in a big way.

Dec 4

Once again I would like to apologize to all of you that read my Hooked Up fishing reports for the poor reports that took place between the Nov 18 threw the 4th of Dec. I am back onboard now and once again I will post honest and accurate reports and take as many great pictures as I can. But bear in mind that first and foremost I am driving the boat and trying to get the fish in the boat at the same time as I am driving.

Thanks for understanding and we are looking forward to a great fishing season here off the coast of South Florida aboard the Hooked Up.
