Started the day drifting clams east of our jetty We both limited out but since it was a for hire trip I Released my 2 And a short While Brian boated 2 nice fish one 33" and a 28". The flukeing was good as well.

While on Slack water we tossed iron at around the birds catching some cocktail blues. Once the tide started Ebbing we had some good fluking Brian had 12 fish 4 keepers 2 @ 18" 1 at 20" and 1 @ 21". I managed only 10 with 2 keepers to 19" and lost a nice fish on top trying to lift it, Oh well if your gonna lose one at least it was mine. All the fluke were in 20 to 30 ft on strip bait and either peanuts or spearing , bottom hook on a 2 hook rig out fished the top today. They also seemed to like the Custom Rigs I got from Joe over at Stella Marris a little better than The rig I was using.
