Freshies Report

Old School Old Time Freshwater Suggestion

Here's a weather scenario and what to do with it to get your best chance at catching a large mouth bass'. Let's say, fall morning situation, sunny conditions and you have clear water. The first thing you need to do is to look for is the last submerged weeds in the lake that are still green located in 1 to 5 feet of water. These healthy areas will still be holding the attentions of small baitfish as well as those wanting to eat them!

Here's a list of best baits'for top water lures go propeller type and working them accordingly. Another good surface lure is a Rapala style, which you need to twitch slowly on the surface. When all these failed move into the 'oldest school ever mode' and 'slow pull work those plastic worms!' The worm is here to stay!
