First Trip after the TROPICAL STORM SCARE! 9-26-07
Some of my regulars Charlie Miramon his brother Bernie and Bob Sagona were waiting for me at the dock itching to get going. The winds looked favorable so we headed outside. Stated out on the edges of Black Bay second stop and corks were going down and trout coming in the boat. The fish were on some oyster beds in 4 ft water Nice Specks and White trout mixed in. The action was steady with both live shrimp and Old Bayside Shrimp under corks. The trout started to get small so went further out MISTAKE! Dirty water and rough. Back in the grass to hunt some reds. Live or dead shrimp up close to the grass off the points with moving water is where we found them. Perfect sized 20 to 25 inches along with a few puppy drum in the mix. Great day lots of laugh’s ass usual with these guy’s and a box full of fish. Sorry the Capt. forgot the camera .
