Charter boats in the Wild Wings Marina are continue to take easy limits of walleye over the weekend and into Monday as the spawn bite continues.

Walleye, predominately males in the 17 to 24" range with some larger fish mixed in, continue to spawn in the area and offer very hot fishing when the weather is stable.

Best baits continue to be hair jigs and blade baits. Most charters are fihing jigs, some tipped with minnows. Best colors for the weekend were purple, dark green and red.

Monday morning the bite was just offshore in 7 - 10 foot of water.

Trollers continue to do well near the range markers north and east of the reef area and around the Bass and Kelley's islands.
