Striped bass AkA rockfish
October marks the beginning of striped bass season. Although there are some incidental catches all year the cooling trend seems to make a better bite happen. Most fish are caught while fishing the Savannah River and Ogeechee River areas. The trick to targeting striped bass at this time is to just fish regular meaning live shrimp and traditional floats or plain old bottom fishing! Don't forget your dip net!
