The fishing on the salmon river couldn't be better. The upper end of the river is holding the largest concentration of fish. The barrel hole, schoolhouse ,wire hole, and the trestle area have been very good.

The best baits have been Berkley pink power worm blue egg sacs, pink and white egg sacs as well as glo roe trout beads in 8mm or 10mm sizes under floats.

Plug fishing from the drift boat has been good when we put in our time.

This week the weather looks good with no major snow in the forecast and temps moderate. The water is currently at 1150 but should be coming down.

Tight lines
