May 3, 2006 - Troy Stanley and Ken from Denham made it down to Hopedale and were ready to go catch ‘em. The wind was up a bit but we made it outside only to find the trout hard to come by. We worked some birds then the rigs and islands then back to the birds. We could not get a steady bite going just a few here and there. Headed for the marsh and put some dead shrimp under corks looking for the redfish. We found the puppy drum eager to get in the boat along with one redfish. Some tough fishing today but we still had a great time.
