Drift fishing got a little tough Saturday when the wind disappeared but we were able to take a limit of nice walleyes north of West Sister Island. Trollers were taking fish in many locations with a really hot bite around A can.

The day opened with a nice moderate crop with winds out of the southwest but they shifted several times before disappearing. The bite was good with gold and lime green harnesses the hottest. Most fish were in the 18-21" range with a couple of 17" and fish 24 – 26 thrown in. Dead-stick bottom bounces were not much help Saturday with the low wind conditions.

Trollers were taking fish with dipsies and jets on both spoons and harnesses.

Sunday opened with a flat lake and tough conditions but the wind and bite picked up about 9 a.m.
