Jody brought Joanna and Judy down to Hopedale today for some fishing action and boy did they get it. I went to where I left the trout yesterday but there was no tide-moving toady. We started out along the shore picking up reds and drums waiting for the tide to move. Made a few moves and found the trout up on flat in 3 ft of water behind a island real close to a drop off into deep water. The bite was with live shrimp under corks. Not fast but steady. The girls were doing a good job of putting tout in the box and Jody was steady flipping fish in the boat. We had a mixed bag catching Drums reds and Sheep head in the same spot, when the cork went down there was no telling what you had on the line. The trout were nice 1.5 to 3 lbs and the sheephead were huge and released to get bigger. We caught and released a lot of small drum and reds too. But managed to get some nice sized reds and drums in the box along with the trout.
