Sept 6, 2007 - Charlie, Sam, Keith and Emanuel were back again and ready for some more trout fishing action. Charlie told me first thing this morning he wanted nothing but big trout no schoolies today. The bay was quite choppy but my 25 ft Team Avenger made for a comfortable dry ride out to the rigs. First stop there was a boat right where I wanted to be so we fished all around being careful not to infringe on these guy’s and caught a few but moved on. Second stop first cast CUZ! Emanuel Dugas puts a big trout in the boat. It was on for while but we missing a lot of bites with the wind except for Charlie he was giving us lessons on how to catch’em. The rest of the guy’s caught on and boxed a bunch before the bite quit. Further out we went hopping from rig to rig picking off a few at each. Got on one more good bite around 11:00 on a small wellhead with solid 2 to 3 lb trout to finish off the day. All fish caught in live shrimp 3 ft under corks and Carolina rigs. Not a full limit but a box full of quality trout, just what Charlie ordered.
