I had to bring the boat back to Hopedale today and try out the POWER POLE and invited 2 friends Steve and Al aka WEEZ along on a little afternoon scouting trip. I went to some areas that I have not fished in lately to hunt up some fish. Caught a few trout but not many. Fished several ponds and flats looking for reds by nothing. Hit some points and islands and found the trout willing and ready. All fish caught on plastics in about 4 ft of water. Titeline was the best but the cork was catching also. Used Old Bayside plastic's Mud Minnow and bay Shrimp in chartreuse and smoke glitter. I had a good time just fishing for the fun and got some fillets for the house too. But boy were the gnats waiting for us at the dock, cleaning the boat and fish was not fun. The POWER PLOE worked great I can believe I waited this long to get one. If you fish shallow water lot like I do get one you will not regret it.
