Saturday April 21. Got to Lake Erie about 11:30 AM. Very light breeze, bright sunny day. I decided to take my 21 foot center consol out for some fishing. Left the dock at 11:50 Am. Went out in front of the Wild Wings entrance and turned East. Went about 100 yards to about 10 foot of water. Put a sonar blade on my line. Silver with gold inserts in the sides. Dropped it in the water in back of the boat a proceed to swim it up and down. Caught a nice 19 inch walleye in about 3 minutes. Caught 2 more 18 to 19 inchers in the next 25 minutes. Missed a couple others. I then hooked and landed a nice 24 incher. That made 4 fish for my daily limit. Cranked up the Evenrude and headed dockside. When I had left to go out, a friend of mine was working on his dock about three down from mine. When I went back in, he yelled "whats the matter, boat trouble?". I said no, I just caught all the fish I'm allowed. He said yes I hear you. I had only been gone 45 minutes. I said come look at them if you don't believe me. He didn't, so he came over to my dock and looked. See the picture included with the report.

The next day Sunday the 22, I went out on my boat with three other friends. We hooked several fish, but only landed 12. All in the 18 to 19 inch size range. We were out about 4 hours this time. Two of my friends are not very good at verticle jigging yet.

Fishing right now in about 10 foot of water is almost criminal.
