We fished April 19th thru the 22nd with limit catches everyday. Many of these days we have our limit within an hour and then we catch and release. The last 2 days we caught our limit within an hour and then released 100+ walleye. I know this is hard to believe but it is true. We fished 0.7-1.5 miles in front of Port Clinton in 9 to 15 ft of water using purple hair jigs w/stingers. Minnows were used to tip the jigs, but many fish were caught without minnows.
