The hot walleye bite of the weekend continued into Monday. Charters continue to use worm harneses with in-line sinkers and weight-forward spinners to take limits throughout the basin. Hot bites were reported Monday north of the Toledo Water Intake, the A, B and D can areas of the Camp Perry firing range and around the island areas.

The weather looks a bit unstable the next few days so fishermen should check with their charter captain or NOAA about lake conditions.
