The Good: perfect weather and almost perfect conditions:D

The Bad: Clients who do not wish to listen to the Capt or Take his advise:(

The Ugly: One keeper Flounder:confused:

Had a great group of guys on the boat today, booked the trip about 4 weeks ago, and they wanted stripers. Have been in contact with them several times over the last week advising that the Striper bite is not on and we should either target Flounder or postphone. The guys wanted to go and go with Stripers.

Started the day at prime locations skates, skates and more skates.......nothing was happening, never got any good reading. Finally convinced them to switch over to Flounder.;)

By the time we reached the pier area the bite had died, tried several more drops and drifted managed one keeper. Finished up in the Shrewsbury, nodda.

Boys had a good time, I had some laughs......but they also learned a valuable lesson as to not believe evertything you hear or read, and maybe, just maybe listen to the Capt.

They boys want to come back when the bite is hot, and i am sure we'll fill the fish box.
