Had a Charter Booked for today, headed down the dock and Matt Mate and I were ready and waiting for my group.

Cell phone Rings, Hey Capt. it's me its raining. (light Drizzle) Said yes light rain but the seas are calm, we are ready to go. Responce, wwweeelll we really don't want to fish in the rain. Politely said conditions were good and trip was on. Responce Let me call you right back.

10 minutes later, no we don't want to go, please send me my deposit back. Again politely said conditions were good, if they didn't sail the Deposit was forfeited. Responce, we don't want to go, politely said well then the deposit is forfeited. Click.

As we were on the dock and the Capt was getting his Blood pressure under control, told Matt Lines off we are going fishing.

Hit the area that has been productive for me an, wanted to wait till change of tide before I set up so we began trolling a Tsunami and a Stretch. 90 minutes later we had 4 Bass in the Box 32-36" 4 other Bass and 2 Blues released.

Headed home as we were cleaning the boat and fish a father and his young son walked down the dock and asked if I would take them out on an open boat trip..

Told Pete and son John sure hop aboard. Once everything was loaded we were on they way. Pete explained that they just stopped by on a whim, told him the events of the day and he said, well I guess it is my lucky day.

Ran back to were we left them biting, 3 hours later 4 Bass and 2 Blues in the box, 3 Bass and 5 other Blues released.

What started out as a Bad morning turned into a great day...a little rain but the seas were calm.

First pic is Mate Matt and his fish, second pic is of Pete and Johns haul.

So to WAYNE, LOU, and ANTHONY YOU missed a great day of Fishing.
