Today we had onboard Norm Nelson and his daughter Kelda, great people and always a pleasure to have onboard. Day started out good got to our spot on the last of the incoming and anchored up. Put the lines out and started cracking clams. Was not long before Norm's Rod went off and he brought in a nice 30" fish. A few minutes later Kelda's rod went off and she brought in a nice 29" Striper, her first bass ever. After that the bite died, sat threw the change and made a couple moves nothing but Skates. Made and got a few calls and received the same infor as we were experiencing. Pulled the hook and shot back to a spot that has been producing on the troll, before i had the second line out the first went off and Kelda reeled in a nice Chopper. Was getting plenty of readins of bait and fish, just nobody wanted to chew. All in all a good day with a great father and daughter, many could take leasons from them.
