we whent staight to 27 fathom and the bottom marked real good. sent down some croakers and they never made it to the bottom, 3 jacks in the boat and we try again.second drop gets us 2 jacks and 1 pulled hook. 3rd try and we have our limit of amberjacks. now we start to troll and miss a sailfish right away. we trolled for a hour with 2 barracuda and 1 mistery fish.i hear that the cobia are up so we run to the area where they have been and hook up with 5 throw backs and 1 keeper and call it a day.
