Headed offshore with 13 year old Tyler from Oklahoma and his dad. Snapper and Permit the main focus.

We headed to the Everglades barge and immeadiately got covered in boats. Ran north off of cape romano and found three Cobia, hooked one and broke off.

Finally found the mits 4 miles offshore on an old boat. They were spooky but on the surface. We were out of crabs. Tyler hooked one on a Gulp crab but missed the hookset, then Dad hooked one on shrimp and he broke off after the first run.

Finally after all seemed lost, tyler hooked one with a shrimp on the bottom. After a respectable fight he landed a nice 8 pounder, took a picture and sent him back home!

All in all a decent day.

Bio: A typical day out on the water, is never so typical. We start out with a leisurely ride through the backcountry in Mangrove lined channels. I almost always see MANATEE, usually see big ALLIGATORS and don\'t be surprised to see a BALD EAGLE or two! The water is golden brown, typically too dark to see through until we start stalking fish in the shallows. Almost immediately, bait will be jumping, tarpon will be rolling and gulping air and snook will be \"Popping\" the surface catching bait. I call my fishing experience unique. I do however understand the urge for fresh fish, and if you want it fresh, I\'ll get it for you! I have found a reliable, fun and action packed way to catch some of the most sought after game fish and I am anxious to share it with you. In as little as 4 hours we can catch Snook, Tarpon, Redfish, Trout, Snapper, Shark, Jack, Grouper, Sheepshead and more!
