Today we had a Half Day Charter with Dave Ghiraldini and his sons Griffin 10 and Spencer 9. Perfect weather and great conditions greated us for the 0800 shove off. All the guys were Fluking novices and eager to get going.

Ran outside and made my first stop near the beach. Was not long before the gang was pulling up a few shorts and Jumbo Sea Robbins. Nothing much developed so we ran off shore to deeper water. When we first set up the drift was a tad fast but the fish were biting.

Pretty soon the guys were regularly pulling up Fluke with some nice keepers mixed in with the just missing shorts. We had 2 nice fish that did not make the net. Both fish were 5-6 lbs and were just hanging on the tail of the Gulp Grup and let go inches from the top.

Griffin and Spencer had a blast, both boys were pulling up fish on their own, they gave a proud Dad a run for his money. This was one of those days that was a 10, great weather, and good conditions, fish were biting and a Dad got to enjoy a moment that will last forever with his sons.
