You could not ask for anything more on an inshore charter than what I did fishing July 8th With Rob Schroeder and his group…

We started off 2 minutes from the dock throwing plastics at a school of 3lb Blue fish. The birds were all over that action and so were we for the first hour. We then moved up the river to float fish for Trout. The bite wasn't on fire but we caught several fish all in the 3 pound range. We also caught 3 nice Flounder in the same spot….

I told the guys if we could top it off with a nice Red fish for everybody that would give them the inshore slam for North Florida. Of course they were already very pleased with the trip and didn't know how it could be any better until we hooked the first Red fish.

We soaked blue crabs on a school of Reds and everyone got to catch a nice Red that were all in the 6lb range...

It was a boat full of high fives all morning and I'm sure when they are in town again I'll be getting a call. Sometimes the fish can make a guide look he is the best there is!!!

We all know that the fishing is not always that good that's why you keep going!

I have been fishing the Jacksonville Florida area over 30 years with many a memorable fishing trip starting when I was a kid. We are in between and only minutes away from Amelia Island and St. Augustine, we can enjoy the fishing any direction. From downtown to the mouth of the ocean and all the back water in between.
