CRAPPIE:

The Crappie are well into their spawn. Fish are being taken on small jigs and minnows fished along the shoreline 2ft deep, in brush piles 26ft deep, and anywhere in between. The fish are a little scattered but it is still possible to land on a big school of slabs.

BASS:

Now is a great time for anglers new to the lake to come. Tie a crankbait, rattletrap, spinner bait, soft plastic, or jig on your line and cast the shoreline you will catch bass! Most fish will be 12" to 14" but you'll occasionally get a 4Lb to 8Lb fish to keep you on your toes. I've noticed the larger fish usually like a "roof over their heads" (under a log, on a deeper point, in a brush pile, inside or beside cover).

BLUEGILL:

Some Bluegill are shallow, but some amazing numbers are in deep water on stumps and in Crappie brush 10' to 18' deep. Wax worms will get 'em.

I'm mostly booked April and May but have plenty of June dates available. Call now to book a trip for the best "Big Bass' fishing of the year.

See ya on the Water!
