Mac Byrum

For the past two weeks, the young blues and channel cats have been quite active. These fish are being caught by using the slow trolling technique (less than 0.5 MPH) using a Carolina type rig for catfish. Catches of 12 to 25 cats per four hour trip can be expected. They are hitting white perch strips, carp strips, bream heads and also any other freshly killed bait you offer them. Great time for a family outing and there is enough action to keep the young ones busy.
