BASS:

The bass action has been outstanding. You can catch 150 bass in 8 hrs most days. Most of the fish are 12" to 14" but we've caught them as big as 7 Lbs these past couple of weeks. Main lake points and ledges have given the best action but you can still catch plenty of bass shallow.

Big crank baits, heavy spinner baits, jigs, and soft plastics are all producing fish. Green pumpkin and plum have been productive colors for us with soft plastics. Check photos at www.captainkirksguideservice.com

BLUEGILL:

The Bluegill action has been phenomenal this month. We've been catching them by casting 1/16 oz spider jigs on pea gravel bars in 1' to 8' of water.

CRAPPIE:

We caught 17 nice keepers in 4 hrs about a week ago. The fish were 10' to 20' deep on long points. We caught the fish on 1/8 oz chartreuse jigs cast and then swam back to the boat.

WHITE BASS:

Action has been fair fishing minnows, spoons, and spinners 15' to 25' deep on main lake humps and deep points at the mouths of bays.
