The big fish are schooling like crazy here on the St Johns River.Topwater

action is unreal. We have been catching 5 to 8 pound schooling fish all week

and it's only getting better. Most 6 and 8 hr trips are producing 30 to 50 fish

and 70% of these fish are being caught on TOPWATER. Average 5 fish limit

has been 23 to 26 pounds.I had Dan in from AL for a mid day trip on Thursday

and about 20 fish were caught between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm one of the pictures

in this report shows two Big St Johns Schoolers that were caught about noon

on a 3.25 HighRoller. The other picture is my good friend Devin and his two great

Boy's Curtis and Mason. The two young guy's had a blast catching a few on

topwater as well.Main River points and shell beds are the ticket to catching

these big schoolers and time of day has made no difference to the fish..

I can't say it enough. You don't have to come to Florida during the spawn to catch

Trophy Bass. Please take a look at our 2008 and 2009 Trophy pages for the

Months of May and June.My clients catch plenty of 8 to 12 pound fish during

the summer here on the St Johns River.
