The past two weeks we have seen the fish in their summer patterns here on

the St Johns River.Flipping main river pads has been affective in both

early and late morning as well as fishing the main river ledges with a crankbait

and texas rigged worm.Jack G of TN and son Brent of CA had a couple good

6 HR Days catching 15 to 18 fish each day with the biggest weighing 6 pounds.

Most fish were caught flipping pads on the main river.Tony J of Sanford FL

had a good 6 HR trip catching 10 fish to 5 pounds most fish were caught

on the main river casting a texas rigged worm. These summer patterns

will hold true for the next couple months until the fall shad run begins and

at that time we will once again see these St Johns River Bass schooling

on main river points and shellbeds.
