The past three days have been as good as it gets here in Central Florida for Trophy Bass Fishing. My clients Pat and Shawn from New Orleans timed this trip with perfection.Day one Fri 3/12 started out with rain rain and more rain.We had 65 shiners on this day and we were out of bait by 1 pm with a total of 30 fish in 6 hrs of fishing.Sat 3/13 we had a big change in weather and were handed 25 to 35 MPH Winds with the Sanford Airport reporting gust to 41 MPH from the SW.This day was totally different with weather but the fishing got better with 88 shiners there were 40 fish caught. Day 3 Sun 3/14 we planned to fish 6 hrs as Pat and Shawn were making the 10 hr drive home after fishing.A total of 54 shiners were taken on this trip and they produced 15 fish. Now for the best part of this report. The size and the numbers of fish were unreal. In a total of 22 hrs fishing time for the three days 85 fish were caught. That is an average of 3.87 fish per hour. The size of these fish was super. Two over 10 pounds Three over 9 pounds Five over 8 pounds and 40 fish between 5 and 8 pounds. Pat and Shawn I would like to thank you for spending three of the best days in my 30 years of guiding with me!! You were SUPER!!!! One of the great things about fishing the St Johns River in the month of March is we can get out of the bad winds and still catch fish. Most of the lakes here in Central Florida would have been impossible to fish the past three days.Check out my website www.basschallenger.com fishing report for all pictures of this trip The artificial fishing here on the St Johns River is Red Hot as well as shiner fishing. The St Johns River is only minutes from Orlando ,Disney World and Daytona Beach. BASS CHALLENGER GUIDE SERVICE IS NOW YOUR LOCAL DEALER FOR USA CUSTOM RODS CAMO STIX'S.WE HAVE RODS IN STOCK AND CAN HAVE THEM SHIPPED TO YOUR DOOR.THE PROOF OF HOW WELL THESE RODS WORK IS IN THE PICTURES ON OUR BASS CHALLENGER WEBSITE.
